The mandate for WSP, one of the world’s largest engineering firms, was to design their new offices housed in a newly constructed building, located in the heart of Lebourgneuf’s business park, in Quebec City. It was a great opportunity for LemayMichaud to demonstrate its sense of innovation, modernity and ergonomics.
The goal of the project was to provide the firm’s 500 employees with a comfortable environment, with the help of measures such as ambient noise reduction, temperature control and the minimization of light’s negative impacts while providing an environment with a maximum of natural light. The concept offers bright open spaces, bathed in natural light, that encourage collaboration between employees.
In a setting that showcases the building’s structure to highlight the quality of the services offered by the renowned firm, the use of neutral colors in the workspaces helps concentration, and the integration of colourful graphics to the rest areas contributes to the feeling of serenity and calls for the journey of the mind.
