The Grands Prix du Design announced earlier this week the certified projects of their 17th edition, and we are proud to announce that LemayMichaud has earned 9 Gold certifications and 2 Silver certifications in the Architecture, Interior Design, and Communication & Brand Design categories.
Since its first edition 17 years ago, the Grands Prix du Design has established itself as a pilar in the Quebec industry, celebrating the exemplary work of designers and architects across the province. Open to international participants for the past 4 years, the contest has received entries from more than 35 countries to date.
In the architecture category, the firm earned the following certifications:
- Private Residence > 2,000 sq.ft.: Résidence de la Promenade – Gold Certification
- Hotel & Resort: Alt University District – Silver Certification
- Concept & Unbuilt: NewVic at McGill University – Gold Certification
- Conversion & Adaptive Reuse: New Vic at McGill University – Silver Certification
In the Interior Design category:
- Residential Space > 5,400 sq.ft.: Résidence de la Promenade – Gold Certification
- Chain Hotel: Alt University District – Gold Certification
- Gym, Sports & Recreation Center: Club Sportif MAA – Gold Certification
- Special Awards / Signage & Branding: Alt University District – Gold Certification
- Professional & Financial Services Firm Office: Deloitte Laval – Gold Certification
- Special Awards / Signage & Branding: Deloitte Laval – Gold Certification
And finally, in the Communication & Brand Design category:
- Environmental Design / Mural & Artistic Installation: Deloitte Laval – Gold Certification
Gold Certifications winners qualify as finalists for the top honors, such as Platinum Laureates, Grand Prix, International Grand Prix, and Project of the Year.
