The Sid Lee Architecture | STGM Architecture | LemayMichaud consortium is proud to announce that it has been selected to conduct the predevelopment study for the Cité universitaire de Montréal with Ivanhoé Cambridge, a real estate subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), on the site of the former Royal Victoria Hospital.
Established in 1893 on the southern side of Mount Royal, the Royal Vic is an emblematic institution with a rich history. The consortium is honored to play a key role in its conversion. This significant project aims to transform a series of heritage buildings into a world-class inter-university city to offer an inclusive living environment for the Quebec and international student community, and ultimately, foster the advancement of knowledge.
